About the Opportunity

We have an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team! You will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining financial records. 

More specifically, some of your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Process and review invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies. 
• Prepare and execute payments to vendors in a timely manner.
• Process employee expense reports and corporate visa card payments.
• Prepare quarterly and annual GST and corporate tax remittances and reporting.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and vendor information.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Support external audits by providing necessary documentation. 
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

More About You

In order to qualify for this role, you will need your High School Diploma and one year of experience in accounts payable. While not required, an accounting certificate or diploma is an asset.

As our ideal candidate, you are focused on the details, maintain a high degree of accuracy, possess a solid understanding of accounting principles and have strong organizational and time management skills. You have the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment. You have demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and accounting software.
