Location: Frog Lake, AB (Local work around Bonnyville, Cold Lake, Lloydminster region)
Gabbez Inc. is excited to announce openings for motivated and skilled Apprentice Welders to join our team. As a 100% Aboriginal-owned business, we are committed to supporting the local community by employing and training individuals who are ready to take their careers to the next level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in welding processes for construction and maintenance projects in the oil and gas industry.
- Work in Fabrication Shop building and welding Structural steel, Helical Piles, non pressure piping and assisting with the fabrication of Pressure piping.
- Work alongside experienced welders to refine skills and techniques.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols on all job sites.
- Participate in training and professional development initiatives to enhance welding skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have CWB certification.
- Preference will be given to local apprentice welders with experience in oil and gas construction and maintenance.
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the welding trade.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow directions effectively.
- A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
