Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team that works together on the complete process from estimating tenders, project set up and management throughout the projects stages & scopes, working with different subtrades to the finish line of the job.
Duties
Supervise daily operations on the construction site to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring that work is completed according to project specifications.
Develop and maintain project schedules, monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary.
Review blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure accurate execution of plans.
Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards throughout the construction process.
Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and forecasting costs.
Utilize construction management software.
Conduct regular site inspections to assess work progress and address any issues that arise.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Experience
Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction management software (e.g., ProCore) and tools such as Bluebeam for document management.
Familiarity with construction estimating processes and budgeting practices.
Project management experience an asset
Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics with a keen eye for detail.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Experience in quality control processes within the construction environment.
Equipment experience an asset.
Civil water and sewer experience.

Pay: $110,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
