Jardeg Construction is recruiting Electrician Apprentice and Journeypersons to join the team supporting Bonnyville Fabrication Shop for Maintenance work near Bonnyville, AB. There is no living out allowances offered and local Electricians to the Bonnyville / Cold Lake area are strongly preferred.

Bonnyville Fabrication Shop completes fabrication and installation of process piping, structural steel and skid packages for the oil and gas industry anywhere in Alberta.

For over 40 years, the Bonnyville office and team have been providing specialized material requirements and technical services and support for industrial construction and applications. Our skilled and exceptionally experienced team ensures that the highest degree of quality, safety and material performance specifications are reliably met and rigorously adhered to in:

• Pipe fabrication, fitting & welding
• Module assembly
• Prefabricated & painted steel structural erection
• Electrical & Instrumentation

As an Electrician Journeyperson at Bonnyville Fabrication Shop, you will:

• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, electrical code specific to electrical equipment layout.
• Tests, examines and installs electrical components, wiring, receptables, switches and other electrical controls.
• Work with cutting, threading, bending, assembling and installing conduits and other conductors and fittings.

Qualifications:

• Electrician Apprentice or Journeyperson Certificate.
• Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-2020) Certificate.
• H2S Alive.
• Standard First Aid.
• Aerial Work Platform.
• Fall Protection.
• Valid Driver’s License and a 3 year’s Abstract.
• Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test.
