The Municipal District of Bonnyville No. 87 invites applications for a full-time Equipment Operator II – Grader Operator. The Equipment Operator II - Grader Operator is responsible for the overall integrity of the municipal roadway system while ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with municipal standards and regulations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Operate a grader to remove snow, grade roads, and ensure proper drainage.
Perform pre-winter, spring, and summer maintenance on roads.
Operate all heavy equipment which includes but is not limited to trucks and pups, excavators, and crawlers.
Transport equipment and ensure proper cargo securement.
Ensure access to houses, businesses, water sources, and waste sites.
Maintain easements, roads, and transportation systems ensuring safe conditions.
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks while also maintaining equipment inventory.
Ensure heavy equipment is safely and securely stored.
Clean equipment as scheduled and/or as needed.
