MPI Oilfield is looking for Conventional Oil and Gas Field Mechanics to join our growing team! If you are interested in maintaining and operating a field service truck to handle day-to-day field maintenance services; and are a self motivated, team player, this is job for you! MPI is willing to train the right candidate who is interested and willing to learn!
Skills You Bring:
- Possess well rounded knowledge of natural gas engine, wellhead and compressor performance and operations, screw compressor experience preferred.
- Technical experience and/or relevant knowledge of valves, actuators and digital control systems
- Mechanic, hydraulic and electrical experience.
- Technical knowledge acquired by a journeyman certificate or equivalent industry experience.
- Good understanding of basic electrical/hydraulic/engine mechanical diagnostics and repair.
- Effective communication skills with an ability to provide solutions to complex challenges.
- Strong compliance and adherence to safety standards and protocols.
- Solid leadership and supervisory skills with willingness to support/train new apprentices.

Requirements:
- Journeyman Certificate - Mechanic, Millwright, Heavy Duty, Small Engine, Automotive, Agriculture
- Apprentices would be considered / Willing to train
- Provide your own hand tools and cell phone (Specialty tools are provided)
- Construction Safety Orientation (CSO)
- H2S Alive
- First Aid
- Class 5 (No GDL)
- Drivers Abstract
- Clean Drug and Alcohol test

Shift:
- 8 and 6 shift, 10 hr days, 24hr on call while on shift
- Available for overtime/after hours calls
