Summary
HSE Administrator is responsible for all administrative duties related to ensuring safety standards on site. The position will start with the primary role and responsibility being administration, as the candidate develops, candidate will be responsible for more HSE related tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist HSE Manager with administrative functions such as creating and maintaining manual and electronic files, directing communications, preparing, and editing documents, maintaining agendas, scheduling meetings, etc.
  • Maintaining HSE documentation necessary for COR audits
  • Assisting in safety meetings and coordinating training when required with the office
  • Complete other office and field duties as required
  • Assisting with investigating incidents and corrective actions
  • Ensuring safety procedures and standards are being followed
  • Completing new hire orientations
  • Participating in educating staff to eliminate job hazards on site
  • Report any hazards/damages/incidents and complete the investigation report
  • Shadow HSE professional in the field to learn aspects of the profession
  • Perform other related duties and activities as required

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in administrative positions
  • HSE Administrator Designation, or working towards designation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The position is located in Cold Lake Primco Dene Business Centre.

Projected start date: April 1.
