Ceda is looking to hire 2 Journeyman Pipefitters to work out of our Bonnyville location.
Work can be local to Bonnyville or camp based, therefor candidates must be local to the area.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and weld piping/equipment supports, brackets, guides
- Fit up and prepare piping requiring welded joints
- Provide support, guidance and training as required
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirements and assemble piping systems
- Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools
- Weld, braze, cement, solder and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system
- Test system for leaks using testing equipment and troubleshoot issues “post” installation
- Other duties as assigned
Role Specifications:
- Journeyman Pipefitter/Steamfitter (Red Seal preferred),
- Valid CSO (Common Safety Orientation) & H2S Alive required
- First Aid, Confined Space, Fall Arrest and Aerial Work Platform (AWP) certifications are considered an asset
- Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Skills:
- You’re happy working as part of a team and comfortable working independently on various projects in the shop
- You’re meticulous – you have no problem completing the required paperwork for projects and jobs
- Able to perform physically demanding work (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)
- You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
