Job description

Job Summary: The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of heavy equipment. The successful applicant should possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical components. Duties include performing routine maintenance, as well as diagnosing and conducting repairs on equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
• Perform repairs and replacements of parts as necessary.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Go on service calls to diagnose and repair equipment.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Class 1 or 3 driver's license will be considered an asset

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy parts and tools.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
• Capable of standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.

schedule can be flexible pick between:

10 hour days
Monday-Thursday
Day shift
or
8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday

Experience
mechanical: 2 years (preferred)

License/Certification:
Class 5 License (required)
