The Municipal District of Bonnyville No. 87 invites applications for the position of Programming lead. This position is responsible for actively promoting and growing the Kinosoo Ridge Resort activities plan.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop all aspects of private, group, and school group programming.
- Develop and organize school group itineraries and lesson plans.
- Act as a multi-sport instructor, coaching guests of all levels while remaining within the CSIA/CASI certification level.
- Supervise Ski/Snowboard instructors and Programming/Camp Attendants.
- Complete evaluations and additional administrative reports.
- Participate in training clinics.
- Ensure public and personal safety when utilizing the resort facilities.
- Assist with the development of creative concepts for event materials and all aspects required to execute year-round events.
- Adhere to the Alpine Responsibility Code.
- Perform general labour and maintenance tasks as required.
- Perform other related duties within the scope of the position as required.
Qualifications:
- CSIA/CASI certification or equivalent.
- Advanced First Aid and ski patrol training.
- CADS certification will be considered an asset.
- Minimum of five (5) years of ski/snowboard instruction experience.
- Three – five years of leadership/supervisory experience.
- Aerial Park experience will be considered an asset.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite programs.
- Ability to work in a team environment or with minimal supervision.
- Committed approach to exceeding guest expectations in a continuously changing and fast paced environment.
- Stamina, flexibility, and self-discipline to work long hours as required.
- Provide a vulnerable sector check.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license in good standing.
