Lakeland Co-op is currently seeking a Full-Time PETROLEUM MAINTENANCE CLERK for our Cardlock locations in Bonnyville and Cold Lake, Alberta.
We are looking for a Full-Time Petroleum Maintenance Clerk who is eager to be a part of a great team, enthusiastic about representing and handling our products, is a confident self-starter, and has the skills and desire to provide outstanding customer service.
The Petroleum Maintenance Clerk will have daily access to the Lakeland Co-op pickup truck to travel between Cardlock locations and perform light maintenance and janitorial services.
Our Petroleum Maintenance Clerk will:
Use a high attention to detail to maintain and upkeep our Cardlock locations (eg. snow removal, salting where needed, washing concrete pads, debris removal, etc.)
Take pride in ensuring all equipment and pumps are running properly, report faulty equipment to the Petroleum Manager, and replace faulty equipment when required
Represent Lakeland Co-op in a professional and positive manner
Establish a friendly connection with customers and provide exemplary service
Provide information to customers/Members when required
Keep safety as a top priority
Other duties as required
We are seeking candidates with the following preferred qualifications:
Good communication skills and strong customer services skills
Motivated to work and accomplish tasks with minimal supervision
Honest and trustworthy, strong work ethic, and striving to be the best at what you do
High school diploma or its equivalent preferred
The ability to lift heavy materials (10+ kg)
Acceptance of Lakeland Co-op’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
Must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol Screening
Must have a valid driver’s licence and supply or obtain an acceptable driver’s abstract
Must supply or obtain an acceptable criminal background check
