Lakeland Co-op is currently seeking a Petroleum Sales Representative in our Energy Department located in Bonnyville, Alberta.

What you’ll do:
You will demonstrate top quality sales skills and be responsible for attaining and maintaining new and existing accounts by:
Achieving volume and margin sales targets for Commercial and Farm Fuels and Lubricants business, including tank rentals and sales.
Managing all leads and opportunities and working closely with the Petroleum Team to facilitate solutions for the customer, including present and future needs.
Developing strong relationships with all accounts and maintaining high levels of service to enhance customer loyalty.
Having a strong understanding of negotiating strategies and profitability analysis.
Ensuring inventory levels and ordering schedules are maintained.
Keeping informed with new products and having knowledge of competitor pricing.
Implementing and effectively managing sales programs and product delivery schedules.
Complying with all safety regulations and procedures.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Bulk Petroleum Sales and:
You have three or more years of commercial or industrial sales experience. Experience in fuels and/or lubricants is considered an asset.
You have a Class 5 AB Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
You have the ability to lift 25 kgs and carry it more than 100 m without assistance.
You’re committed to safety in the workplace.
You possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
