Job Description
FLINT seeks skilled and experienced Journeyperson or Apprentice Pipefitters (3rd or 4th year) to join our team in Cold Lake, AB! As a Pipefitter, you'll perform various tasks, such as fixing threaded pipes, testing for leaks, and replacing valves.
What would you be doing?
- Inspect, repair, and maintain piping systems.
- Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks.
- Maintain and repair piping systems.
- Replace damaged components and ensure proper functionality.
- Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble, and install metal, plastic, and fibreglass pipes, valves, and fittings.
- Join pipe sections and related equipment and secure in position.
- Maintain accurate records of repair logs, maintenance schedules, and equipment specifications.
Does this sound like you?
- Journeyperson or Apprentice Steamfitter-Pipefitter certification.
- Valid H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry, CSO, CSTS-20, Aerial Work Platform and Fall Protection tickets are mandatory.
- Boiler experience is considered an asset.
- Must have your own reliable transportation.
- Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
