Rona Cold Lake is hiring the following Design position which encompasses, sales of cabinetry/countertops/blinds/paint and flooring and associated acessories.
Education required:
- A good working knowledge of 20/20 Design system
- 1-2 years’ work experience in kitchen and home design
- A good working knowledge of color coordination as it relates to home design and décor
- Familiarity with product lines and cabinetry specifications and limitations
- A working knowledge of Cabinetry materials and installation techniques
- Computer literacy
Job Requirements:
- Be able to design functional and aesthetic kitchen/bath spaces that respect the customers’ needs and constraints.
- Know industry standards and availability of appliances as required in the design.
- Have an excellent working knowledge of the product selection available from each of the cabinetry manufacturers
- Product and procedural knowledge to facilitate multiple sales from all Rona departments.
- Be able to assess customer needs, guide customer decisions, evaluate the scoop of the project and integrate the information into the design layout, in a timely manner
- Be able to do accurate measurements and read blueprints
- Must have excellent listening & communication skills with an attention to detail.
- Be able to resolve issues and deal with conflict on a professional manner
- Must be reliable, dependable and self-motivated.
- Must be able to work week-ends
