Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, hard-working, and detail-oriented Farm & Hospitality Operations Assistant to join our dynamic team at 350 Farms. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and is passionate about guest service, outdoor work, and supporting unique farm-based experiences.
In this role, you’ll assist with the day-to-day operations of our all-inclusive glamping retreats, events, and seasonal activities. From prepping luxury accommodations and assisting guests to maintaining property standards and helping with event setup, this role is critical to the smooth and memorable experience our guests expect.
The ideal candidate is flexible, organized, physically capable, and enjoys variety in their workday. No two days are the same—tasks may include turning over guest domes, chopping wood, supporting farm events, stocking beverages, cleaning, landscaping, and assisting with guest check-ins and activities. Works screws heavily towards the evenings and weekends, but we guarantee one weekend off per month or one weekend day per week depending on employee preference.
Responsibilities Guest Experience & Hospitality
Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs, offering a warm and professional welcome.
Stock accommodations with food, beverages, and welcome amenities based on guest preference sheets.
Set up and clean glamping units, including beds, bathrooms, and outdoor areas.
Deliver exceptional service and respond to guest requests in a timely, respectful manner.
Refill snack boxes, firewood, and beverage fridges as required.
Set up and clean up special touches like welcome treats, signage, and outdoor décor.
Provide support during farm-to-table dinners, events, and workshops.
Property & Grounds Maintenance
Sweep decks, collect garbage, clean fire pits, and ensure outdoor spaces are tidy.
Assist with daily cleaning tasks, including mopping, dusting, and laundering linens.
Chop and stock firewood for guest use in domes, hot tubs, and saunas.
Check lights, battery packs, and solar units; charge and restock as needed.
Assist with landscaping tasks such as watering, raking, weeding, and light snow clearing.
Maintain farm aesthetics by keeping paths, signage, and guest areas clean and visually appealing.
Operations & Admin Support
Use checklists and binders to fulfill specific guest preferences and cleaning protocols.
Assist with inventory tracking for cleaning supplies, firewood, guest amenities, and snacks.
Report any damage, maintenance needs, or guest concerns to the leadership team.
Participate in pre-season setup and post-season shutdown tasks, including deep cleaning outdoor areas, set up and organizing.
Support during special events, markets, and holiday activations such as Haunted Woods or farm brunches.
Creating social media content
Experience & Qualifications
Previous experience in hospitality, housekeeping, landscaping, retail, or guest services is an asset.
Previous experience with livestock or farms is an asset.
Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor environments in all seasons.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with guests and team members.
Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand or walk for long periods, and perform manual tasks.
Valid driver’s license
Knowledge of cleaning protocols and safety standards is an asset.
Special Interest in creating social media content is an asset
