S2425-52  Seasonal Labourers

  The Northern Lights Public Schools Maintenance Department is seeking four (4) full time temporary employees for our seasonal labour/ground maintenance crews anticipated start date early May 2025 until late August 2025, in Lac La Biche and Bonnyville. 

Responsibilities Include:  

• General building maintenance and grounds keeping such as, mowing, weed control and painting
• Adhering to all safety procedures

The successful applicant must:  

• Have a positive attitude, be self-motivated and dependable, with a strong work ethic
• Demonstrate commitment to safety 
• Posses the ability to work well with others and/or on their own with minimal supervision
• Have a valid Class 5 Driver's License
• Be flexible to perform a variety of maintenance tasks
• Have previous grounds care experience 

Preference will be given to applicants who:  

• Are attending post secondary school
• Have two or more summers of previous experience
