Jardeg Construction is recruiting Scaffolder Apprentice and Journeypersons to join the team supporting CNRL Wolf Lake, AB, for Maintenance work near Bonnyville, AB. Apprentice positions are 6 weeks in duration; Journeyperson positions are 6 months in duration.
There is no living out allowances offered and local Scaffolders to the Bonnyville / Cold Lake area are strongly preferred.
CNRL Wolf Lake is an In-Situ Thermal site, and you’ll enjoy a well-structured 7-days-on, 7-days-off shift rotation with 11-hour workdays, complete with three 15-minute breaks and 5% RRSP.
As a Scaffolder at CNRL Wolf Lake, you will:
- Practice safe and secure scaffold access without compromising on safety.
- Communicate effectively with both staff and supervision to ensure expectations are met.
- Design scaffolds to site requirements, material specifications and CSA standards.
- Demonstrate safe work practices in the industrial environment with knowledge of Task Hazard Assessments.
- Fully competent with assembling, dismantling and modifying System (Layer/Ring Lock) and Tube & Clamp scaffolds.
- Knowledge of isometric drawings an asset.
- Support colleagues and participating in skills transfer.
- Prioritize daily workload with managing materials efficiently.
Qualifications:
- SAIA Scaffolder Journeyperson Certificate or Proof of Hours.
- H2S Alive.
- Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS 2020) Certification.
- Common Safety Orientation.
- Energy Safety Canada Certified Fall Protection.
- Energy Safety Canada Certified Confined Space.
