Brown’s Industrial is seeking a knowledgeable Shop Labourer to assist and support our technicians and team members by performing various tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our Service department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Clean equipment/vehicles utilizing a pressure washer
General Labour: including sweeping, shovelling, garbage and yard maintenance.
Assist technicians in shop as required.
Clean, organize and store tools.
Keep the shop clean and organized, including the entrances and wash area.
Maintain awareness of hazardous materials and proper handling procedures.
Ensure the appropriate use of PPE while performing tasks.
Role Requirements:
Previous experience in a mechanic shop is an asset.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Must be able to follow directions
Must be good at problem solving, decision making, job task planning and organizing.
Basic understanding of tools and equipment used in an autobody shop
Experience using hand and power tools
Willingness to work in and outdoors
Candidate must have a valid Class 5 Drivers License and provide updated Drivers Abstract.
Candidate must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol Screening test and Physical Demand Analysis.
