About the Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Systems Support Analyst to join our IT team! Reporting to the Manager, Information Systems, this role will provide expert level support to all system users by troubleshooting basic problems related to hardware, software, and ancillary equipment.

More specifically, some of your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Troubleshoot and support standard desktop operating systems, applications and infrastructure issues (network connectivity, printing, internet).
  • Perform account management and maintenance for various applications and systems (i.e., create or modify user accounts and permissions, perform password resets).
  • Support multiple Microsoft products including Intune and SharePoint.
  • Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications.
  • Perform onsite analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including offsite repair for remote users as needed.
  • Management of Windows Servers, SQL Server, Virtual Servers (VM Ware), Active Directory, and LAN equipment.
  • Work with vendors to provide support and implement solutions.
  • Creating and updating technical documentation and user guides.

More About You

In order to qualify for this role, you will need a minimum of two years’ experience providing support in a help desk environment. Diploma in Computer Science or Business Information Technology would be an asset.
