Addictions Counsellor will be responsible for group and individual counseling, facilitating, preparing lecture packages and documentation of client activities, the submission of Treatment Summary Reports and other necessary reports on a timely basis and miscellaneous other Counselling duties. Addiction Counsellors must be able to work collectively with the Bonnyville Indian-Metis Rehabilitation Centre. Addictions Counsellors are required to adhere to the Code of Ethical Conduct of BIMRC.

Qualifications:
 Certification in Addictions Counselling or equivalent, CCPC Global or Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation.
 Registration with ACTA.
 Ability to work independently and be a team player.
 Effective verbal and written communication skills.
 Must have knowledge of Indigenous history and culture.
 Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software programs.
 Learn and follow all safe work procedures for your job position.
 Knowledge of Accreditation Standards an asset.
 Good organizational skills.
 Valid Driver's License.
 Asist Training, Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training and Medication Dispensing training required, willing to train the right candidate if necessary.
 Must be able to provide a Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks, Driver’s Abstract.
 Will be required to sign Oath of Confidentiality.
