Community & Promotional Coordinator

The Lakeland Region 2026 Winter Games is looking to fill the part time position of Community and Promotional Coordinator. We are looking for someone outgoing, energetic and professional to join our staff in a contract role, ending in February 2026. We offer a great team environment and are looking for someone who is passionate about our community and this exciting opportunity.

Contract term: May 2025 – February 2026
Hours of work: Flexible! 20-25 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Assist in procurement and management of promotional materials and Games merchandise
• Recruit, train and manage Sport Ambassador protocol
• Work with Community members to promote games and secure sponsorships
• Assist in completing local subcontracts
• Help organize local cultural events or activities
• Plan and execute social entertainment for athlete’s and coaches
• Various other duties as required

Requirements:

• Friendly and positive attitude
• Well spoken with a professional demeanor
• Ability to work longer hours the weeks leading up to and including the Games
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently
• Experience with promotional materials or fundraising is an asset

Work would primarily be in Bonnyville initially, with travel to Cold Lake but we are open to candidates in Cold Lake, as we do have an office there.
