Smoky Lake Forest Nursery Ltd. is hiring seasonal general greenhouse labourers to join our team for Summer Harvest (June and July). Job location is approximately 19 km east of Smoky Lake, AB.
Key Responsibilities May Include (but are not limited to):
- Grading/Stacking/Wrapping Seedlings
- Boxing seedlings
- Washing/stacking/wrapping blocks for storage
- Building boxes/labelling boxes
- Stacking boxes
- Loading shipment trucks
- General greenhouse work, cleaning, setup, and maintenance as required
Requirements:
- No experience is necessary!
- Fast-paced environment
- Repetitive tasks
- Handling heavy loads (physically demanding)
- Standing for extended periods
- Bending, crouching, kneeling
- Attention to detail
- Hand-eye co-ordination
- Requires own transportation to/from site
