We are looking for a full-time skilled Technician to join our team in Cold Lake, AB. Communications Cold Lake installs, troubleshoots, maintains and repairs internet, fiber optic, security systems, video surveillance and related services at business and industrial locations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Installation of network/security infrastructure
- Test components and systems
- Troubleshoot and make repairs
- Pull cable
Skills:
- Commercial knowledge of networking
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and adaptable
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and take direction from others
Requirements:
- Flexible to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays, as well as on-call.
- Available to work 40 hours per week, with the potential for overtime hours, if needed.
- Valid driver’s license
- Clear criminal background check
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. and carry climb and work from a ladder
