Position: Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic
Type: Full-time
Location: Bonnyville, Lloydminster and Nisku Alberta
Pay: Commensurate with education and experience
Duties and Responsibilities
Fleet maintenance.
Diagnose and repair diesel/gas engines and commercial trailers.
Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
Record and maintain accurate work orders.
Complete ‘Commercial Vehicle Inspections’
Maintain preventative maintenance program.
Qualifications
Heavy Equipment Tech (HET) Journeyman Red Seal
High school diploma with minimum of 2 years’ working experience.
Valid Class 5 license
Basic set of hand tools required.
Organizational, Interpersonal, and communication skills.
Strong work ethic, to work independently and within team.
A wide array of knowledge and experience with tools
Familiar with the latest vehicle diagnostic equipment
Experience in preventative maintenance including electrical, interior, air brake, tire, and body maintenance.
