Seven Lakes Oilfield Services is currently recruiting for INDUSTRIAL INSULATORS to join our growing team.
This position is located at Cenovus Foster Creek and Sunrise site locations.
Cenovus Sunrise will consist of 14 on/7 off; Camp is provided,
Cenovus Foster Creek will consist of 7 on/7 off; Camp is provided,
Travel allowance is provided for each shift completed rotation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Apply, remove and repair thermal and insulation
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine insulation requirements.
- Select the amount and type of insulation to be installed as well as a method of securing the insulation (e.g. pin welding, wiring, banding, taping) according to the type and shape of surface, whether the equipment is cold or hot, inside or outside, and what the equipment is going to be used for.
- Measure and cut insulating material and coverings to the required shape and dimension, as well as fitting insulation around obstructions or shape insulation materials and protective coverings
- Install vapor barriers & finish insulated surfaces by applying metal cladding, canvas, PVC or cement.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must provide hours of credit or certification and basic hand tools
- Common Safety Orientation or CSTS 2020
- Confined Space Entry and Monitor
- Fall Protection
- H2S Alive
- Elevated Work Platform an asset
- Standard First Aid (an asset)
- Valid Class 5 License with an approved driver’s abstract (obtained within 30 days)
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and approved to work at site location.
- Comprehensive Drug, Alcohol, PFT, and Physical Abilities pre-employment test
