Licensed Guard

Primco Security Services LP is looking to hire Security Guards immediately.

• Start date is as soon as possible
• Location of worksites are in the Cold Lake region
• Casual positions
• Wage negotiable
• 7/7 Rotation, 8-12 hours per day
• Vacation pay paid out each pay period
• Company vehicle provided, if site permits
• Must be local to Cold Lake area
• On-the-job training and supports

Summary
Security Guards maintains safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.

Duties
o Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry
o Obtain help by sounding alarms
o Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers
o Control traffic by directing drivers
o Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures
o Maintain environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls
o Maintain organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
o Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques
o Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
o Perform other related duties and activities as required

Qualifications
o Alberta Solicitor General Security License
o Class 5 license
o 3-year Drivers Abstract
o First Aide with CPR
o H2S Alive
o Pass Alcohol / Drug Pre-Employment Testing
o Surveillance Skills
o Emotional Control
o Integrity
o Safety Management
o Professionalism
