Certified Powersports Mechanic
Motion Motor Sports is currently accepting resumes for a full time Mechanic position.
This position requires an individual with excellent communication and customer service skills, computer literacy, the ability to multitask, a disciplined work ethic, and a strong enthusiasm for the powersports industry.
Main Responsibilities:
- Discuss issue/complaints with customers
- Diagnose & locate problems with electrical, engine, power train, suspension, frame
- Dismantle, adjust, repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Clean & adjust carburetors, clutches, brakes, drive chain
- Replace and rebuild parts, cylinders
- Modify units for high-performance, turbo, Nitro and snorkel kits
- Maintain a clean and efficient shop environment
- Any other duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and dealership as a whole
Qualifications:
- Must have Mechanic License!
- Experience and knowledge in the Powersports Industry is necessary.
- Fundamental computer skills required.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
- Work in a professional, positive manner in person and on the phone.
- Able to be punctual and reliable at all times.
Hours:
Monday to Friday - 8:30AM - 5:30PM
