About the Opportunity

LCU's Member Service Advisors are the smiling faces that greet our members when they walk into one of our branches providing a personalized and friendly experience for each member. You will play an integral role in providing exceptional service for each member by responding to member inquiries, identifying financial needs and providing recommendations for LCU products. They do all this by getting to know our members and helping them complete day-to-day banking transactions.

More specifically, some of your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Accurately processing member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan and utility payments, money orders, wires, cheque cashing, calculation of foreign and domestic exchange.
• Understanding member needs and identifying opportunities to promote our products and services, referring them to appropriate team member as needed.
• Applying policies and procedures when completing member transactions to mitigate risk to Lakeland Credit Union.
• Contributing positively to workplace culture where we celebrate our successes and work together to achieve our shared goals.

More About You

In order to qualify for this role, you will need your High School Diploma and customer service experience. While not required, a business certificate or diploma is a bonus.

As our ideal candidate, you have a passion for delivering superior, personalized service to our members, and a willingness to learn and grow. You are focused on the details, maintain a high degree of accuracy, understand basic accounting principles and have strong organization and time management skills.
