Location: Cold Lake North
Hours: Part-time, afternoons (Monday to Friday), with the possibility of transitioning to full-time.
Wage: Based on qualifications and experience. Level 2 and 3 educators receive the Alberta government wage top-up.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Level 2 or Level 3 Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our out-of-school care program. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with school-aged children, facilitating engaging activities, and fostering a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage children in developmentally appropriate activities after school and during No School Days.
Plan and implement enriching experiences that promote creativity, social skills, and physical activity.
Provide a nurturing and inclusive environment where children feel safe and valued.
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers.
Ensure a smooth transition from school to the childcare setting.
Follow First Smiles Child Care’s policies and Alberta licensing regulations.
Qualifications:
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certification (required).
Current First Aid & CPR certification.
Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search (required before hiring).
Experience working with school-aged children is an asset.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Passion for play-based learning and fostering a child-centred environment.
