Position: Security Supervisor
Reports To: Security Manager

COMPENSATION:
Between $21 - $25 per hour, compensation is determined by experience and qualifications

PURPOSE
A Security Supervisor is critical to the success of Casino Dene. The Security Supervisor will be responsible for all aspects relating to safety and security of our patrons, employees and Casino Dene property.

ROLE
The primary role of this position is to ensure the security standards and ensure policy and procedures are maintained. The Security Guard Supervisor will demonstrate leadership and a professional image to all guests, employees, local community representatives, vendors and governing agencies while maintaining employer standards for patron satisfaction, employee satisfaction, quality assurance and asset protection.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• All roles and responsibilities of a security guard
• Will fill the role of Security Supervisor as requested by the Security Manager
• Will cover shifts that are booked off by the Security Manager and full time Security Supervisors
• Assist Security Manager with day-to-day operations (filing paperwork, checking timesheets, assisting with weekly schedules, etc.)
• Assist Security Manager with performance reviews
• Responsible for camera roll backs, when requested by MOD
• Assist with training new security guards in all aspects - incident reports, patron counts, etc.
• Take direction from Management when called upon

KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
This position requires the ability to communicate clearly, deal tactfully and work effectively with Casino Dene management, staff, and patrons. The incumbent in this position will primarily work with security guards and management.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Security Supervisor schedule may vary and would require the ability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays. Casino Dene is a smoking facility; all employees are required to be able to work in a smoking environment.
