Duties

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and sushi preparation areas.
Adhere to food safety guidelines, including proper food handling and storage practices.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Assist in menu development by suggesting new sushi items and seasonal offerings.
Monitor inventory levels of sushi ingredients and communicate needs to management.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in sushi preparation techniques as needed.
Skills
Proven experience in food service, particularly within a restaurant or kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
Proficiency in meal preparation techniques, especially related to sushi making.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
